Libby Head I'm a Freshman at UGA from Talbotton, GA. I've had Rocky since March of 2008 and we've evented through the Intermediate-Preliminary level and also represented Area 3 at the NAJYRC in 2009. We're both excited to be in Athens!

Katie Kenerly is a sophomore at Athens Academy and has owned her horse Charlie, a 6-year-old Quarter Horse, since summer of 2008.  She and Charlie have done hunters but are looking forward to trying eventing.

Amanda Letheren has been with Fancy since she was two-year-old. "I was a rookie when it came to riding, and Fancy was a rookie when it came to being ridden--but it worked out for the best. Over the years we taught and learned from one another. Now, we fit together like peanut butter and jelly. Even though she doesn't have an ounce of raceblood in her, Fancy loves timed events. Our absolute favorite event is polebending. And we are huge trail riding fans! "

Hannah Newman is a senior at UGA.  She and her horse, Chase, enjoy jumping, dressage and trail riding.

Jeanice Plourde fell in love with Tari at a trail-riding barn in Woodstock, GA in 2003.  She began to lease her and realized that Tari and her fit better than any other horse she had ever ridden.  As a determined 13 year old she began to babysit every weekend in order to save up enough to try and buy her. It worked! Jeanice had ridden hunters before meeting Tari so, in 2006, they moved to a hunter-jumper barn to try out jumping together.  They competed successfully in local shows and learned that Tari really loves to jump!  Now, they are trying new things as they enter the college-phase of life while Jeanice attends UGA as an animal science with pre-vet intention.  They have been training with Kelly and absolutely love all of the progress that they have already made!  Hopefully they will be ready to start going to events soon!
Tara Stricko adopted Jackson (a.k.a. Sheila's Catman) from the CANTER organization in 2006.  Tara has been riding since she was a little girl and competed in recognized dressage shows until taking a break from riding during her college & grad school years.  Their partnership has come a long way in only a short time & they have successfully competed in local hunter shows & horse trials.  After a long career at the track Jackson is happy to have a more relaxed lifestyle and LOVES to trail ride.  His favorite place to be is splashing in the middle of the Chattahoochee river while riding at Dawson Forrest.  Tara looks forward to their future together & wants to make it to a recognized horse trial sometime soon.
